Recently,new types of thin film solar cells including inorganic semiconductor quantum dots solar cells(QSCs)and perovskite-based solar cells,have been developing very rapidly and attracted particular attention as well.Semiconductors as light harvesting materials,such as quantum dots and organic lead halide perovskites(i.e.CH3NH3PbI3)exhibit particular characteristics due to high extinction coefficients,tunable optical property and low cost,thus leading to their strong competitiveness with other thin-film technologies.
