To develop a national infrastructure for a Biological Resources Centre (BRC) a network has been established comprising of the Australian Collection(s) of Microorganisms (ACM) and the Australian Microbial Resources Information Network (AMRIN) 1,2,3 (http://www.amrin.org/).The network has been set up to provide integrated intemet access to a comprehensive range of quality assured microbial and cell cultures and associated molecular biology resources and information to facilitate evolution of a NBRC 1.
