We have selected three topics among solved and unsolved problems of structural chemistry to be considered in this lecture.The first is topic on aromaticity,which we start with search for the generalization of the Hckel famous 2n+2 Rule,the properties of conjugated circuits and their use for calculation of resonance energies,and will end with discussion of Clar aromatic sextet and Clar formulas for benzenoid hydrocarbons.
