Xihuang pill is created by Weide Wang, a physician of Qing dynasty.It is widely used in clinical for cancer treatment more than decades.Combining with chemotherapy, Xihuang pill can increase the survival rate of cancer patients and improve their life quality.However the anti-tumor mechanism of Xihuang pill is still notclear.Numerous studies show that the KAI1 gene inhibits themetastasis of colorectal cancer.In vitro and in vivo experiments confirmed that the high expression of KAI1 can inhibit cell migration and tumor invasion.
