Cell division in eukaryotes is controlled by CDK proteins and the commitment to progress through the first cell cycle phase of G1-to-S is regulated through the activation of CDKA by CYCDs,which then phosphorylates the RBR protein.The activity of CYCDs/CDKA complexes is modulated by ICK/KRP proteins.
