  In recent years,imidazole carboxylic acid ligands have attracted considerable attention because they possess strong coordinating capability and display versatile coordination modes.A new Zn(Ⅱ)complex [Zn(H4pbidc)-(H2O)2]·2H2O has been synthesized through the reaction of 1,3-(propyl-1,2diyl)bis(1H-imidazole-4,5–dicarboxylic acid)(H6pbidc)with the zinc salt.
