Taking the unique superiority to evaluate the impact of uncertainties,reliability-based design optimization (RBDO) is widely used in engineering.Typically,there are three basic approaches,parallel-loop method,serial-loop method and single-loop method,for RBDO.It is an essential issue to combine them together and exploit their own advantages to the full.Furthermore,to simplify the most probable target point search process,the traditional advance mean value (AMV) method fixed the step size.The irrational step size may reduce the optimization efficiency.To improve the optimization efficiency,a new adaptive-loop method for RBDO is proposed.
