Postoperative Venous Thrombosis Embolism (VTE) is one of important death cause for the patients who were suffered from joint arthroplasty. Although lacking of epidemiological document, it is no significance of difference between morbidity in Asia, especially in our country, and that in the West Country. It is not clear about Etiology and pathogenesis of VTE, but the research of the risk factors and clinical valuation can effectively help to reduce morbidity.The instant diagnosis and prophylaxis of VTE are key to decrease morbidity and mortality. With the development of science and technology, it is worth of discussing about some increasing new technique. Our goal is that can improve the further research of VTE by discussing some methods and techniques regarding to clinic.
