Background:Penile reconstruction has always been one of the most challenging problems for plastic surgeons.At the year of 1936 Bogoras performed the first penile reconstruction by using traditional tubed pedicle flaps,many other types of flap and methods have been applied ever since,such as lower abdominal flap,pudendal-thigh flap,parascapular flap,paraumbilical flap,and free forearm flap.
