Introduction:Due to its diverse nature and composition,the extracellular matrix (ECM) is able to serve many functions,such as providing support and anchorage for cells,segregating tissues from one another,and regulating intercellular communication [1,2].Currently,adipose tissue is often discarded after plastic and reconstructive surgery in the form of lipoaspirates.
