The paper studies cold-state experiment of the fluidization performance of phosphogypsum (PG) particles in VFB.Effect of amplitude and diameter rate ofbed(H0/D) on fluidization behavior of PG are investigated. The results showes that the phenomenon of channeling is serious in case of no vibration. With the increase of amplitude, the bed expansion ratio and bed pressure drop rose respectively. But the minimum gas velocity rarely changed. Moreover, the bed pressure drop and the minimum fluidization velocity rises with H0/D respectively, and the expansion ratio increases first and decreases later. When the H0/D is 3.6, the bed expansion ratio is maximized. So the introduction of vibration greatly improved the fluidization performance of PG particle.
