The relationships of toxicities from intragastric,intravenous,intraperitoneal and subcutaneous exposure routes exposure routes to mice were investigated.Regression analysis showed that the toxicities in intragastric route are poorly related with those in intravenous,intraperitoneal and subcutaneous routes.On the other hand,the toxicities in intravenous route are well correlated with intraperitoneal and subcutaneous injection routes.Comparison of the classified compounds shows that some classes/homologues have similar toxicity values,but some are not.Several factors can affect the differences of toxicities between the exposure routes.These factors include bioavailability,absorption rate,distribution rate and metabolism process.
