Aim: In this study, the protective effect of different doses of atorvastatin on contrarst-induced nephropathy (CIN) in aged diabetics underwent coronary artery interventional therapy were investigated.Methods: 100 aged diabetics who underwent coronary artery interventional therapy with 64-slice spiral computed tomography were randomized to receive high dose of atorvastatin (80 mg/d, n=40) or low dose of atorvastatin (20 mg/d, n=40) treatment for 2-3 d before coronary artery interventional therapy with 64-slice spiral computed tomography.
