The microtubule(MT) and actin cytoskeletons organize the mammalian cell cytoplasm and have well-established roles in many dynamic processes,including cell division,migration and membrane trafficking.Here,we focus on WHAMM,a Golgi-associated protein that utilizes MT binding and actin nucleation activities to promote membrane tubulation during intracellular transport.
