Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor(EGFR) is one of the most thoroughly characterized cell surface receptors.Its ectodomain and kinase domain structures,with mutagenesis and functional studies,provided validation for conformational changes in each that regulate activity.Yet,its conformations of the ecto and cytoplasmic domains have never been simultaneously visualized.
