With social progress and technological development, liquid crystal display (LCD) devices have been applied in a wide range of fields because of its advantages, such as small size, low power consumption, and low radiation.Liquid crystal (LC) alignment layer plays an important role in high-quality LCD.Polyimides (PI) films are widely used as LC alignment layers in LCD for their advantageous properties such as good thermal stability, corrosion resistance, excellent optical transparency, and so forth.
