This paper, drawing on behavioral economics analysis of the prospect theory framework, constructed the agricultural peasant abstract model of risk attitudes under the catastrophic risk.Analysis showed that, in the face of catastrophic risk in agriculture, because of the external environment of uncertainty and information asymmetry and other factors, peasant agriculture and catastrophic risk of a lack of awareness, limited the extent to achieve a low rational.At the same time, by non-Bayesian rules, rules of representativeness, anchoring effect, herd behavior and a framework for external effects, such as sexual deviations significantly interfere with the circumstances, irrational Farmer selection will lead to a large extent the behavior of individual farmers very prone to the tendency of risk preference.
