It is well known that one-color (1C) or two-color (2C) resonant two-photon ionization (R2PI) and mass-analyzed threshold ionization (MATI) spectroscopy are powerful methods to obtain the precise excitation energy of the S1 ← S0 transition and the adiabatic ionization energy (IE) as well as the spectroscopic information about internal motions of neutral and ionic molecular.
