Many nano-sized inorganic materials have specific properties upon exposure to light, electricity and magnetism and their potential applications in biological fields including tumor therapy have already got a lot of attention.Magnetic iron-oxide nanoparticles (MIONs) were often used as drug delivery carriers due to their specific magnetic response and good biocompatibility.Furthermore, the application of MIONs in vivo would offer an impetus for tumor targeting using appropriate magnetic fields. But for drug delivery in vivo,it is quite difficult to get a satisfactory chemotherapeutic effect even when nanocarriers arrive in tumor cells due to low release rates of the drug from nanocarriers [1].
