The advanced numerical simulating technology was applied to analyze the vibration of motorcycle.The finite element model of the frame was built in the environment of MSC.Patran,in which the research of the dynamic characteristic of the frame was carried out.The Virtual Prototype model was built in the environment of ADAMS.The vibration test shows the validity of the model.Two vibration—reducing methods are applied to the model,which shows that both of them can reduce the vibration of motorcycle effectively.By contrasting the two methods,the better one was chosen.The research work presents a new way for the vibration—reducing design of the motorcycle.
