This paper presents seed-mediated growth of metal-semiconductor (Au-CdSe/CdAgSe) and bimetallic (AuPd, AgPd, AuCu, etc.) hybrid nanocrystals with different morphologies. We specifically show how the growth kinetics can be controlled to maneuver the shape evolution of hybrid nanocrystals during a seed-mediated synthesis.
