Introduction and Objective: The key issue in TURBt is how to complete endoscopic removal of bladder tumor and preserve bladder integrity.Residual tumor is further degenerated by coagulating current in transurethral resection and degeneration of bladder tumor (TURD-Bt).This study evaluated the long term efficiency of TURD-Bt to T2-T3a muscle invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) in stage T2-T3a.Methods: Between September 2005 and February 2015, 103 patients with bladder tumor were treated by TURD-Bt.These patients were divided as over 5 years, 2 to 5 years and below 2 years postoperatively to evaluate.Surgical outcomes were compared between the patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and MIBC in stage T2-T3a.
