Power loss is always an important issue people care for PV module,and two different kinds of power losses are being studied by PV engineers: one is the so called fabrication loss,which may be caused by cell defect,electric loss in ribbon and other properties of materials used.And another one occurs after the modules are installed,which may be caused by shadow,dust,etc.This paper presents an analysis of electric performance of BBL module under shading,through simulation and tests,verify that BBL module can reduce power loss compared to conventional modules when partially shaded.
