　　Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a promising information technology which has been successfully applied in agriculture.This paper firstly briefly introduced WSN.Then a review on WSN's application in agriculture was presented, including the development of key technologies of WSN and its application in the field operation control and intelligent production of livestock.Finally, trends and obstacles in WSN's development were discussed.
