Background:Transforming growth factor β-activated kinase 1(TAK1) is a key mediator of innate immunity and proinflammatory signaling pathway.Previously,we found that TAK1 was involved in anti-HBV effect of toll-like receptor 2 agonist in hepatoma cells(Zhang XY,et al,J Hepatol,2012).Here,we further investigated the function of TAK1 in hepatitis B virus(HBV) replication and gene expression in cell culture and mouse models.
