  Tribological properties of C/C-C/SiC mate have been systematically investigated in dry and wet conditions.The coefficient of friction(COF)in dry condition is high and stable.Also,C/C-C/SiC mate is hardly susceptible to wet condition,with high kinetic COF and good brake curves.The friction mechanism of C/C-C/SiC mate is a synergism of the plough effect and adherence effect.Plough effect ensures good friction properties in wet condition.
