The concentration of rare earth ions in the in-situ leaching liquor of ion-adsorbed rare earth ore are always extremely low and generally the traditional technique, such as ion adsorption and resin exchange, to treat such solution with large volume are economically unfeasible (Tian et al.,2010).Traditional extraction equipments including mixer-settler, column and centrifugal extractor are facing difficulties to treat such solutionsdue to low enrichment efficiency of targeted ions and low organic phase dispersion efficiency in aqueous phase.
