The manganese and cobalt ions were selectively separated from leaching solution of cobalt slag by potential-control with ozone as oxidant.In the paper, the separation mechanism of manganese and cobalt was discussed, where manganese ion was oxidized and precipitated prior to cobalt ion, the manganese and cobalt could be respectively separated by controlling the redox potential of system.
