[性味]肉:甘、咸、寒。入脾、胃、肝、大肠经。壳:味甘、性平。 [功效]清热利水,解毒消痈。主要用于小便不通、黄疸、脚气、水肿、消渴、痔疮便血、目赤肿痛、疔疮肿毒等。 壳具有和胃、止泻、止血、化痰等功效,以黄连或冰片置螺壳肉;取螺体之溶化液外敷,或连壳烧灰研末,香油调敷,可治疔疮肿毒、瘰疬、癣疥。 [古籍记载] 《名医别寻》:“汁,大寒,主目热赤痛,止渴。”
