混合教学模式在大学英语教学改革中的运用主要体现在基于MOOC或SPOC等各种网络平台技术的翻转课堂教学模式上。根据认知负荷理论,认知负荷分为三种负荷,分别是内在认知负荷、外在认知负荷和关联认知负荷。学习者发生有效学习的条件是要确保这三类认知负荷之和低于学习者有限的工作记忆容量。本文以大学英语翻转课堂教学为例来探究混合教学模式中的认知负荷等相关因素,指出正确控制认知负荷的重要性。
The application of mixed teaching mode in college English teaching reform is mainly reflected in the flip classroom teaching mode based on various network platform technologies such as MOOC or SPOC. According to the theory of cognitive load, cognitive load is divided into three kinds of load, namely intrinsic cognitive load, external cognitive load and associated cognitive load. The condition for effective learning of learners is to ensure that the sum of these three types of cognitive load is below the learner’s limited working memory capacity. In this paper, college English flip classroom teaching as an example to explore the mixed teaching model of cognitive load and other related factors, pointing out that the importance of proper control of cognitive load.
