美国和比利时的科学家联合研究出一种电子语言扫描笔,不仅能进行语言合成,而且能将文本和数据写入或读出计算机。这种外形酷似日用钢笔的电子语言扫描笔,尖端有一个液柱,当其一接触到纸,红外光束的开关就会自动打开,并开始处理文字。一次扫描一行文字,能识别26种不同国家的文字。它还能通过计算机进行即时翻译,将英语和其它语种进行互译,其它语种包括法语、德语、西班牙语和荷兰语等。这种电子语言扫描笔的最常用的功能,是从—份文件中摘录出所需的数行或数段,并马上将其转入文字处理系统进行处理。
The United States and Belgian scientists have jointly developed an electronic language scanning pen that not only enables language synthesis but also writes and reads text and data to and from the computer.
