改革开放以来,特别是近十几年农村学校艺术教育发展很快,取得了可喜的成绩。学校的开课率大幅提高;教学改革不断深入;艺术教师队伍建设发展较快;艺术教育投入有所增加,办学条件有所改变。但从整体上看,农村学校艺术教育仍然是整个学校教育中最薄弱环节,存在许多亟待解决的问题:农村学校长期以来开不了艺术课,既有体制原因也有社会发展因素,城镇化进程也使农村的界定发生了改变,艺术师资现状与长远谋划差距产生。
