翻转课堂实为一种教学模式,它翻转了传统授课顺序,也颠倒了学习内容传递与内化的顺序。目前,国内学者对翻转课堂教学模式与大学英语相结合进行了广泛的研究与实践,却鲜有人关注翻转课堂教学设计在学生学习过程中产生的认知负荷相关问题。从认知负荷理论本质来说,合理的教学设计可以降低外在认知负荷。为了降低认知负荷,在大学英语翻转课堂教学设计时,可以从开放目的效应、示范效应等及大效应入手,合理分配学生的认知资源,优化教学效果。
Flip classroom is actually a teaching mode, which overturned the traditional teaching order, but also reversed the order of learning content delivery and internalization. At present, domestic scholars have conducted extensive research and practice on the combination of overturning classroom teaching mode and college English, while few people pay attention to the problems of overturning classroom teaching design in cognitive load of students’ learning process. From the nature of cognitive load theory, reasonable instructional design can reduce the external cognitive load. In order to reduce the cognitive load, in the design of college English flip classroom teaching, we can start with the purpose of opening up, the demonstration effect and so on, and allocate students’ cognitive resources reasonably to optimize the teaching effect.
