Objective To explore the impact of core training of static muscle strengthening training on the value of dynamic balance of hearing impaired students and provide reference for improving the balance ability of hearing impaired students. Methods 60 hearing-impaired students above 55 d B in Zhejiang Institute of Special Education were enrolled in this study. Subjects were divided into two groups: experimental group and control group. The experimental group was trained in Pilates and the control group was routinely exercised. The test method uses dynamic star balance test (BEBT). Results There were significant differences in dynamic balance ability in 8 directions before and after training in experimental group, the dynamic balance ability of left and right feet increased by 15.7% and 13.7% respectively after training, which were significantly higher than those in control group (3.4% and 0.92%, respectively) (T = 2.74,5.28, P <0.05). The external, external, internal and posterior directions were significantly increased, which were 16.1%, 23.7% and 16.4% respectively. Compared with pre-training, the dynamic balance ability of the left and right feet in the experimental group was (90.26 ± 12.8) and (89.24 ± 13.03) respectively, and the left and right foot balance differences were not significantly different (t = 2.23, P = 0.117) Although the control group left and right foot balance ability to reduce the trend, but the difference was still statistically significant (t = 1.56, P <0.05). Conclusions Pilates core training can significantly change the dynamic balance ability of students with hearing impairment, reduce the difference of left and right foot balance ability, and promote the balance ability of hearing impaired students positively.
