The “2014 Annual Meeting of Chinese Urban Planning” hosted by China Society of Urban Planning was held in Haikou, Hainan Province from September 13 to 15, and Liu Xingping, vice minister of academic department of CASS, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The conference invited nine experts and scholars including Hainan Provincial Party Committee, Haikou Municipal Party Committee Secretary Chen Ci, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Planning Department Sun Anjun, and Nanjing University School of Architecture and Urban Planning Professor Zhang Jingxiang to make the conference report.
