Recently, the State Non-Ferrous Metal Industry Bureau conducted inspection on the topic of “Research and Development of Aluminum-Lead Bearing Materials” which was undertaken by Beijing Nonferrous Metal Research Institute under the State’s “September 5” key project. Aluminum-lead bearing alloy prepared by the powder metallurgy method is a new type of bearing material with excellent surface properties and reliable bearing capacity, mainly used for cars and light vehicles. In 1996, the former State Science and Technology Commission included the research and development of aluminum-lead bush materials into the national key scientific and technological tackle plan.
