临汾市五一东路小学校校长王金平, 在临汾市尧都区直属的十三所中小学校校长中,是一个年龄虽轻,却资历不浅的校长。师范毕业的校长一路走来,似乎也没有什么骄人的成绩,头顶上也看不到什么耀眼的光环,可他的身后总是留下许许多多的赞扬声。我们知道,成功的校长有很多,可是成功之后,离开之时,还被大家赞扬,却少见。 2005年的最后一个月,记者走进临汾市五一东路小学校,访问了王金平校长, 探听他的治校秘诀。首次走进校园,是一个星期六,学校详和而安静。记者看到一间间教室的门楣上,都显眼地挂着一块标有红星的匾牌。最多的牌子上标着五个星星。走近细看, 五个星各有其名：安全星、勤奋星、卫生星、礼仪星、纪律星。在牌子上方还写着这样几个字：悍卫集体荣誉,争创五星班级。
