Hobbema is a pastoral landscape painter who has a strong affection for his hometown. Although his works in his life are few, he observes each painting in real earnest, and realizes the beauty and poetic nature of nature. The “Boulevard” shows the beauty of a far-away perspective of a country scene. The painter uses the poetic language to reproduce the rural scenery with a strong sense of perspective and give the viewer a comfortable aesthetic feeling. As the painting successfully demonstrated the focus of the perspective of the technique, so the teaching of fine arts techniques has been used as a model of classical works.
