玉溪县城关公社右所十八队,于1972年实现水稻良种化,205亩平均单产1051斤。1973年平均单产达1112斤。以后四年由于品种、栽培技术没有适当的改进,单产仅在833—1096斤。1978年,在高肥量,大群体条件下,追求高产,加上气候不利,稻瘟病大流行,使全队水稻单产由1977年的1032斤降为724斤,每亩减产308斤。1979年转而把水稻高产的重点放在综合防治稻瘟病方面,并以壮秧早栽调整群体结构为手段从而使水稻单
