1934年,红线女同志举行独唱会,她约请我为她撰写一首现代题材的新曲,这是我与这位誉满海内外的粤剧表演艺术家的第一次合作。十五载于兹,我为女姐写的曲子数量不多,质量不高,说不上“成果”,倒是在撰曲、度曲期间,有不少感受(尤其是从三年前写《祥林嫂》到近日的《豪唱大江东》这两个作品时),随手记下,整理成这篇小文。只是学习心得,卑之无甚高论。“她唱她的,我唱我的”三年前,为纪念鲁迅先生逝世60周年,我根据他的小说名篇《祝福》写成粤曲《祥林嫂》,分别由粤剧、曲艺两位青年演员演唱。
In 1934, the Red Line Lesbian held a solo concert, and she asked me to write a new song about her modern theme for her. This is my first collaboration with this accomplished Cantonese opera artist. Fifteen set in the hereby, I wrote a song for the small number of girls, the quality is not high, can not be called “achievements”, it touches in the song, degree song period, there are many feelings (especially from three years ago wrote “Xiang Lin Sao ”to the recent“ Hao Jiang Da Jiang ”these two works), readily note, organized into this small article.
