在无产阶级文化大革命蓬勃兴起的1966年,我所广大职工在批判修正主义科研路线的基础上,遵照伟大领袖毛主席“独立自主、自力更生”的教导,采取集中优势兵力打歼灭战的方法,在不到四个月的时间内设计成了这条由UX14、UX22和UX15三条自动线组成,共有21台机床的当时我国最长的气缸盖加工线。设计人员在为这三条自动线制订方案的过程中,深入用户现场调查研究,吸取了工人师傅的丰富实践经验,拟定了较为合理的工艺方案。在设计过程中又与制造厂的工人师傅组成了三结合的设计队伍,每个重要部件的设计都是经过与工人师傅反复讨论,才最后确定的。这样就大大地加快了设计速度,保证了设计质量。
