美国星光佳映集团成立于1991年,隶属于美国自由传媒集团。星光佳映集团主要从事付费影视频道的内容制作、集成、运营等业务,旗下一共有17个付费频道,这些频道不播放广告,营业收入主要来自观众订阅频道的收视费。目前,星光佳映集团最为著名的付费频道是星光频道(Starz)和佳映频道(Encore),两个频道的订户规模约为5700万左右。本文主要介绍星光佳映集团的发展历程、现状、新兴媒体策略以及对我国影视类频道的启示。
American Star Jiaying Group was established in 1991, under the United States free media group. Starlight is mainly engaged in pay-TV channel content production, integration, operations and other businesses, its a total of 17 paid channels, these channels do not play ads, revenue mainly from viewers subscription channel subscription fees. At present, the most famous pay channels of Starbucks Group are Starz and Encore, and the subscribers of both channels are about 57 million subscribers. This article mainly introduces the development history, status quo, emerging media strategy and the enlightenment to China’s film and television channels.
