In the autumn of November every year, all the world’s major art collectors, art dealers and media outlets will all focus on New York, the center of the global art auction market. Although its location was threatened by London over the past two years, it remains the largest volume of deals in the world’s art auction market. The most important events of this year’s autumn auction were the “Impressionist and Modern Art” night auctions and the Contemporary Art Night auctions held by two auction houses, Sotheby’s New York and Christie’s New York. The turnover of these four special sessions basically constituted the keynote of the trend of global art auction market in the near future. The low tide in the past two years, whether the art market rose or continued to look at the four auction results handed over.
