民族凝聚力在当代的升华，是通过民族凝聚力的内核构成与人文特征顺应时代的发展进行整合与演进得以实现的。邓小平理论的形成和发展使当代中华民族凝聚力的内核构成进一步合理化；邓小平的“一国两制”理论使当代中华民族凝聚力的聚合机制实现了适应时代需要的更新；邓小平关于“对外开放”和“发展是硬道理”等理论，使当代中华民族凝聚力的凝聚张力得到空前的增强；在邓小平理论的指导下，中华民族凝聚力的人文特征实现了从“偶象崇拜”到“崇尚民主与法制”的升华。
The sublimation of national cohesion in the present era is achieved through the integration and evolution of the core composition of national cohesion and the development of human characteristics conforming to the times.
