随着世界新技术革命信息的传来,有关电子计算机、微型计算机应用的消息逐渐多起来了。钢铁厂采用电子计算机控制炼铁轧钢;纺织厂采用电子计算机管理纺纱织布;图书馆用电子计算机编排目录,检索资料;机关采用电子计算机统计数据、存贮档案、绘制图表……。无庸置疑,电子计算机进入社会生产和生活各个领域,这是科学技术发展带来的必然趋势。电子计算机是人类大脑的延伸。它可以增强人的智能,使更多领域实现自动化。采用电子计算机,能够节省大量人力、时间、能源、材料,带来显著的经济效益和社会效益。从某种意义上说,没有电子计算机的普及,就没有现代化建设。
With the arrival of information on the world’s new technology revolution, there has been a gradual increase in the use of computers and microcomputers. Steel mills use electronic computers to control ironmaking and rolling of steel; textile mills use electronic computers to manage spinning and weaving; libraries use electronic computers to organize catalogues and retrieve data; institutions use computerized statistical data, storage files, and drawing charts. Undoubtedly, electronic computers have entered various fields of social production and life. This is an inevitable trend brought about by the development of science and technology. Electronic computers are an extension of the human brain. It can enhance human intelligence and automate more areas. The use of electronic computers can save a lot of manpower, time, energy and materials, and bring significant economic and social benefits. In a sense, without the popularity of electronic computers, there will be no modernization.
