作为中国绘画史上具有重大影响的娄东画派的诞生地娄东(太仓),也是郑和七下西洋的起锚地,昆曲和江南丝竹的发源地。2014年,中国美术家协会同中共太仓市委宣传部成功地举办了“重温经典”娄东(太仓)全国中国画作品展。为了进一步弘扬中国画的优秀传统,传承优秀娄东文化的艺术精神和文化力量,从传统文化中获取智慧并促进中国画的创新与发展,由中国美术家协会和中共太仓市委宣传部共同主办的“重温经典”第二届娄东(太仓)全国中国画(山水画)作品展将继续在太仓市举办。现将此次展览的有关
Lou Dong (Taicang), the birthplace of the Lou-Dong School of Painting with a significant influence in the history of Chinese painting, is also the birthplace of Zheng He’s seven western anchors, Kunqu Opera and Jiangnan Sizhu. In 2014, the Chinese Artists Association and the Propaganda Department of the CPC Taicang Municipal Party Committee successfully held the “Reload Classic” Lou Dong (Taicang) National Chinese Painting Exhibition.
