自从恢复高考,几亿父母在孩子入学前就抓教育的差距。1988年我国每100个18到22岁青年中,上大学的还不到3个人,而世界平均水平是10%,美国是60%。 1988年到1998年10年间,在我国公办和私立大学多方努力下,中国每100个学龄青年得以上大学的从先前的不到3%进步到8%,差不多是10年前的3倍了。而1998年,美国和加拿大都提高到71%。 再看我国这8%中的尖子,他们去了哪儿呢? 一流的学生去了美国。 二流的学生去了国内的外企。
Since resuming college entrance examination, hundreds of millions of parents have caught the education gap before their children start school. In 1988, out of 100 young people aged 18 to 22 in China, less than 3 were from college, compared with an average of 10% in the world and 60% in the United States. During the 10 years from 1988 to 1998, with the concerted efforts of public and private universities in our country, every 100 young Chinese graduates in colleges and universities have been able to progress to less than 3% from the previous 3% to 8%, which is almost three times that of 10 years ago. In 1998, the United States and Canada increased to 71%. Look at the top 8% of our country, where did they go? First-rate students went to the United States. Second-rate students went to domestic foreign companies.
