马克思、恩格斯的世界历史时代观把世界生产力与世界交往这“两个普遍发展”视为推动人类社会生产方式变革的根本动力和实现社会主义乃至共产主义社会不可或缺的前提条件。邓小平依据世界历史发展的这一总趋势,总结中国在时代问题上的经验教训,科学认识社会主义发展与世界发展的关系,实事求是地分析当今时代特征,站在全人类的高度提出了和平与发展的时代主题,确立了符合当代中国与当代世界实际的我们称之为世界共同发展的新时代观。
