10月21日 EMC 公司宣布完成对 LEGATO 公司的收购,LEGATO 将作为 EMC 的一个部门进行运作。原 LEGATO 系统公司首席执行官 David B.Wright,将成为 EMC 公司的执行副总裁和 LEGATO 软件部的总裁,负责 LEGATO 软件的销售、市场、联盟、服务和人力资源管理。LEGATO 中国区经理李飚在接受记者采访时表示,目前中国区的合并正在进行中,原LEGATO 在上海和广州的办公室已经开始与 EMC 合并办公,同时双方正作为一个团队去赢取一些重要项目。但李飚强调,LEGATO 在中国的渠道、合作伙伴策略将不会变化,LEGATO 原有的客户也将不会有任何影响。
October 21 EMC Corporation announces the completion of the acquisition of LEGATO, LEGATO will operate as a division of EMC. Former LEGATO Systems CEO David B. Wright will become EMC’s Executive Vice President and LEGATO Software’s president responsible for LEGATO software sales, marketing, affiliate, service and human resource management. Li Biao, LEGATO China Manager, said in an interview with reporters that the merger in China is currently underway. The former LEGATO offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou have already started their merger with EMC, and both are now working as a team to win some important projects. However, Li Biao stressed that, LEGATO channels in China, partner strategy will not change, LEGATO original customers will not have any impact.
