举办“精神与品格——中国当代写实油画研究展”是为了促进中国油画在当代多元发展,百花竞放的前提下,使各种不同风格取向的艺术追求都能够进一步地向更高的艺术境界发展,而分别从学术研究的角度提出和组织的。我们知道写实油画是欧洲的传统,也是中国油画的主流,从特定意义上说,中国当代写实油画的艺术成就,标志着中国油画艺术所取得的总水平。
